The most collectible FD2 generation Civic was the Mugen RR, with a total of just 300 units produced and in RHD only . To prevent cosmetic upgrades on non-original cars, Honda checks for legal ownership before supplying any replacement part specific to the RR.
There are
only
about 10
Mugen RRs in Hong Kong including this one
.

I bought the Si of that generation in white, I gave it to my mom when I left Hawaii. I would have kept it if I had one of those! I need that engine in my TSX wagon.

I got to drive a Mugen Si once. It was a USDM spec 8th gen, and I dont think it had much in the way of power mods, but it was a really fun little car and I enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised by the K20 and VTEC was a joy to anticipate as the revs climbed. I daily drove a 12 second Z28 at the time and still had a blast in that little Civic.

Well I dont when I did, at least Oahu. I will never live on Oahu again. My mom is on Kauai most of the time and part of my family and a good friend is on the Big Island. I like it in those places better, but you need a job. Its a tough situation.

Seems like Honolulu traffic is comparable to Californian metro areas.

Oh yeah it is now, crawling. I had to go back for a wedding last year. I will never live there again unless I was retired. But I would probably just stay on Kauai. And the potholes are huge!
